If there is one thing Aussies love more than the footy, it’s a good old fashioned barbecue.
On Thursday the 24th of May, Blue Dog Training gathered its most seasoned barbecue experts to raise funds for Variety – The Children’s Charity. With the scent of sizzling sausages and frying onion in the air, it didn’t take long for footy-goers and the Blue Dog team to start lining up for a $3 snag and a drink before the Broncos vs. Eels game at Suncorp Stadium.
As the work day ended, the Blue Dog Training team banded together to contribute to half of the funds raised on the day, with many members coming back for seconds and thirds. Football fans heading to the stadium also couldn’t resist getting in on a good meal deal before the game, and contributed significantly to overall success of Blue Dog’s first ever Sausage Sizzle.
We’d like to thank every member of the Blue Dog Training team for helping out and contributing to the barbecue, and we’d also like to thank members of the public who bought a snag to help raise much-needed funds for Variety.
